Mainline privacy policy
Last updated 11 September 2026
The short version
Mainline doesn't collect, store, share or sell any personal data. The game works entirely offline, and your saved game never leaves your device unless you choose to copy a save code.
What the app does with data
- Your saved game (company name, services, finances and settings) is stored only on your device, in the app's own storage.
- No accounts, no sign-in. Mainline doesn't ask who you are.
- No internet access. The Android app doesn't request internet permission. The map, stations and trains are all built into the app.
- No analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind, and no third-party code that does these things.
- Save codes. If you use “Copy a save code”, your game is turned into text on your own device. Where you paste it is up to you.
- Device backups. Your phone's operating system may include the app's storage in your own device backups (for example, Android backup or iCloud), under that platform's settings and policies.
Children
Mainline collects no information from anyone, including children.
